Coming Up Next:
John Lars Shoberg's next title, And the Meek Shall Inherit..., is now open for pre-order at $12.00 for the paperback version. We are shooting for a publication date of November 30, but the cover is not quite ready, it's still getting a few tweaks. As soon as that is done, the cover will appear on our website, on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. Not to mention Smashwords and Amazon. You won't be able to pre-order the e-book version until we get that cover uploaded, but you can pre-order the paperback from MoonPhaze.com now, sight unseen, as it were. If you want to pre-order the e-book, start looking at your favorite book store around Nov 15th. If they have the cover, you can pre-order for $3.99. Once it is published, the price will go to $4.99. So make a note to order it early!
The Earth's military has sent a warship to the planet Lankmere to study how the inhabitants manage to not have wars, or even an army. Shortly after the humans arrive, another set of humanoids suddenly appear from nowhere, wearing red environmental suits with clear helmets and bearing laser rifles. They attack without warning, killing all the intelligent species on the planet. The humans waste no time in shooting back and making plans for protecting the Lankmerans. But where did these humanoids come from, and what do they want? It's hard to fight a war when you have no intelligence about the other side. But if the humans don't figure things out, the entire populace will be eradicated.
Linda NMI Joy's novelette, The Secret in Morris Valley, is also being tweaked, getting ready for its 2nd release. We expect it to go on pre-order around November 15, and to be released about December 15.
Ondrea has been sent by her college professor to Morris Valley to study the local wolves, who are reported to be 'unusual'. But Barry Morris won't allow her out of the house without a heavily armed escort. Having met her, Barry has plans for Ondrea.
So do the wolves.
We thank you for your continued support of our efforts, and apologize for our plans being rather nebulous at this point. We don't think it should take 2 or 3 years to get a book published, so we try to get it done in 6 months. Or less. Sometimes, that leaves us scrambling a little to get everything done.
Because we are 'racing against the clock' on these last 2 projects of the year, we will probably issue a 2nd newsletter in the middle of the month to let you know how we are doing.
