MoonPhrazes - December 2021

'Tis the season! Of gathering excitement as those wonderful winter holidays draw ever closer and closer. Unfortunately, it's also the season of being time crunched as you find time for shopping and baking and all those magical things the holidays call for.

We at MoonPhaze are as time-crunched as everybody else, and sometimes, it - alas - shows up in what we accomplish. As in, our monthly newsletter is a few days late and sometimes our year-end goals don't get reached before the end of the year.

John Lars Shoberg - The cover for John's latest book, "And the Meek Shall Inherit..." apparently needs a little more than a tweak, so we have had to postpone its publication to December 31, 2021. We are hoping to get everything done so that it can still count towards this year's goals. And we are still accepting pre-orders at MoonPhaze.com. For only $12, you can get on the list to receive an autographed first edition of Shoberg's latest book! And for pre-orders, the shipping is included!

The Lankmerans were a peaceful folk; they've never had any war in their history.

But shortly after humans arrive, another alien race does too, and their intentions appear to be to annihilate!

Who are they? Where did they come from? How did they get there without any spaceships? And why are they so intent on killing all intelligent life?

If the humans don't find answers, their efforts to protect the Lankmerans may not work. And Earth may be the next target of these technologically advanced barbarians.

Linda NMI Joy - We are also trying to get Linda's first book, "The Secret in Morris Valley" published again, under our own brand. It is next in line, but whether we get it finalized and on the market during December remains to be seen. If we can get both this and "Meek" out before the end of the year, it will mean we've met our goals for the year. Stay tuned for further news!

Ondrea was sent to Morris Valley to study the 'unusual' wolves rumored to live there. But her host seems determined to keep her from doing any field work.

He has plans for Ondrea.

  MoonPhrazes    April 2022 I spent March building a new website, as part of a new marketing campaign. I'm not quite done building it, but it should be up and running in the next few days. After that, I need to update the contents of at least one of our e-books, and get it started through the machinery that is distribution. At that point, I will be doing an Addendum to this month's newsletter. I will be announcing that you can get a particular book for FREE at your favorite e-book supplier. MoonPhrazes May 2022

  The best laid plans of mice and... well, anybody, really. We've all had it happen to us, right? You were working on a project and something came up so that you had to put it aside for a week or two. Then before you could get started on that project again, something else intruded and you aren't sure when you'll be able to get back to that project. In the first half of April, I was re-formatting a number of our ebooks so that they would look nicer. More professional. How hard could that be? Well, unfortunately, it was not as easy as it sounded. When I checked the final formatting, every one of them had something wrong with it, and I was going on vacation and couldn't spare the time to get them fixed before I had to leave. Bummer! I did take a number of them with me on a thumb drive so I could work on them, but we packed the Apple laptop and not the Lenovo. The Apple doesn't have Word on it, so I couldn't work on them after all. Double Bummer! As we wer...

  MoonPhrazes November 2021 Coming Up Next: John Lars Shoberg's next title, And the Meek Shall Inherit... , is now open for pre-order at $12.00 for the paperback version. We are shooting for a publication date of November 30, but the cover is not quite ready, it's still getting a few tweaks. As soon as that is done, the cover will appear on our website, on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. Not to mention Smashwords and Amazon. You won't be able to pre-order the e-book version until we get that cover uploaded, but you can pre-order the paperback from MoonPhaze.com now, sight unseen, as it were. If you want to pre-order the e-book, start looking at your favorite book store around Nov 15th. If they have the cover, you can pre-order for $3.99. Once it is published, the price will go to $4.99.
