For those of you who didn't catch it late in July, I am announcing that the new website is live. You can look it over at MoonPhazeBooks.com. You should be able to buy and download any of the 4 sf novels by John Lars Shoberg that I've got listed. This site sells only ebooks.

Also, I have re-published these same 4 books on Smashwords.com. On Smashwords, John's first book, The Stone Builders, can be downloaded for free. Yes, FREE! That price should have worked its way to your local bookstore by now.

In the Stone Builders, the Human/Wassaran colonists on the planet Ranklin find the planet had been colonized before, by a race neither of them had heard of. But that colony had been short-lived, and there was evidence they had left in a hurry. What chased them away? Even more important, did it still pose a threat to the current colony?

If you enjoy The Stone Builders, you will find it possible to download the sequel, The Stone Ship, for free by following the instructions in The Stone Builders.

While surveying a new star system, the military discovers the remnants of a Stone Ship, and quickly send for the original team of scientists that studied the Stone Builders on Ranklin. The military continues its survey, leaving the scientists to their work. But an unknown ship appears and heads straight for the latest discovery. Is it the stone builders, come to claim their stone ship? Or worse, whichever race was able to disable a ship made of stone?

  MoonPhrazes    April 2022 I spent March building a new website, as part of a new marketing campaign. I'm not quite done building it, but it should be up and running in the next few days. After that, I need to update the contents of at least one of our e-books, and get it started through the machinery that is distribution. At that point, I will be doing an Addendum to this month's newsletter. I will be announcing that you can get a particular book for FREE at your favorite e-book supplier. And also, that it will be possible to get a 2nd book free, if you want it. So, keep your eyes open for that Addendum. This will be the best offer we have made since... well, forever.

MoonPhrazes May 2022

  The best laid plans of mice and... well, anybody, really. We've all had it happen to us, right? You were working on a project and something came up so that you had to put it aside for a week or two. Then before you could get started on that project again, something else intruded and you aren't sure when you'll be able to get back to that project. In the first half of April, I was re-formatting a number of our ebooks so that they would look nicer. More professional. How hard could that be? Well, unfortunately, it was not as easy as it sounded. When I checked the final formatting, every one of them had something wrong with it, and I was going on vacation and couldn't spare the time to get them fixed before I had to leave. Bummer! I did take a number of them with me on a thumb drive so I could work on them, but we packed the Apple laptop and not the Lenovo. November 2021

  MoonPhrazes November 2021 Coming Up Next: John Lars Shoberg's next title, And the Meek Shall Inherit... , is now open for pre-order at $12.00 for the paperback version. We are shooting for a publication date of November 30, but the cover is not quite ready, it's still getting a few tweaks. As soon as that is done, the cover will appear on our website, on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. Not to mention Smashwords and Amazon. You won't be able to pre-order the e-book version until we get that cover uploaded, but you can pre-order the paperback from MoonPhaze.com now, sight unseen, as it were. If you want to pre-order the e-book, start looking at your favorite book store around Nov 15th. If they have the cover, you can pre-order for $3.99. Once it is published, the price will go to $4.99.
