For those of you who didn't catch it late in July, I am announcing that the new website is live. You can look it over at MoonPhazeBooks.com. You should be able to buy and download any of the 4 sf novels by John Lars Shoberg that I've got listed. This site sells only ebooks.

Also, I have re-published these same 4 books on Smashwords.com. On Smashwords, John's first book, The Stone Builders, can be downloaded for free. Yes, FREE! That price should have worked its way to your local bookstore by now.

In the Stone Builders, the Human/Wassaran colonists on the planet Ranklin find the planet had been colonized before, by a race neither of them had heard of. But that colony had been short-lived, and there was evidence they had left in a hurry. What chased them away? Even more important, did it still pose a threat to the current colony?

If you enjoy The Stone Builders, you will find it possible to download the sequel, The Stone Ship, for free by following the instructions in The Stone Builders.

While surveying a new star system, the military discovers the remnants of a Stone Ship, and quickly send for the original team of scientists that studied the Stone Builders on Ranklin. The military continues its survey, leaving the scientists to their work. But an unknown ship appears and heads straight for the latest discovery. Is it the stone builders, come to claim their stone ship? Or worse, whichever race was able to disable a ship made of stone?

We are shooting for a publication date of November 30, but the cover is not quite ready, it's still getting a few tweaks.
