I asked all my friends who write science fiction if they had any new books I could bring to the attention of my email friends. Unfortunately, none of them did. So I broadened my search and found an urban fantasy I could tell you about:

I discovered Travis Heerman's Shinjuku Shadows series when I downloaded a FREE copy of book 1, "Tokyo Blood Magic". In this book, Django Wong, a modern-day ninja turned sorcerer, has never failed in a witch hunt before. But this time, he's sent after the only woman he's ever loved. I heartily recommend this book.   At Long Last...   My 15-year-old CPU (computer) went on the fritz last weekend and spent the week in the shop. So even though the new MoonPhaze website went live on Monday or Tuesday, I could not make an announcement. That's one draw-back of having your computer remember all your passwords for you.
