I see the light!

Or, I think I see the light at the end of this long tunnel that has been this big project. I am nearing the end of formatting all of John Lars Shoberg's books. Now just a few hyperlinks to get set and our new website will go live! {Maniacal laughter.}

But first, a question. How much do you care if the Chapter Headings are NOT centered? I have this one stubborn book that has its own way of interpreting my formatting efforts, and it has decided that when I say Chapter Headings should be centered, I obviously MUST mean they should be sitting on the left margin. (Except Chapter 36, which is happy to sit in the middle of the page, just like I told it.)

I mean, it will look strange, I know that. But does it really matter in the scheme of things? If you opened this ebook and saw that everything I designated as a 'Chapter Heading' was sitting on the left side of the page, would you turn away in disgust? Please feel free to answer, I really want to know.

I've got a couple days left to get this fixed, otherwise...

In any case, our new website will go live on July 15th, 2022. That will be MoonPhazeBooks.com. I didn't hyperlink it because the website isn't running yet. Look for my reminder on July 15th.

At the same time, John Lars Shoberg's books will be published (again) on Smashwords.com. (Maybe not the one that's being so stubborn, we'll see.) And his first book, The Stone Builders, will be free! Allow a few days for that price to percolate to your local ebook store. So, hope to see you all on the 15th!

On another note, Smashwords.com is having a summer sale during July. A number of MoonPhaze's books by other authors are either free or half off. Check them out by going to Smashwords.com and searching for MoonPhaze!

  MoonPhrazes    April 2022 I spent March building a new website, as part of a new marketing campaign. I'm not quite done building it, but it should be up and running in the next few days. After that, I need to update the contents of at least one of our e-books, and get it started through the machinery that is distribution. At that point, I will be doing an Addendum to this month's newsletter. I will be announcing that you can get a particular book for FREE at your favorite e-book supplier. And also, that it will be possible to get a 2nd book free, if you want it. So, keep your eyes open for that Addendum. This will be the best offer we have made since... well, forever.

MoonPhrazes May 2022

  The best laid plans of mice and... well, anybody, really. We've all had it happen to us, right? You were working on a project and something came up so that you had to put it aside for a week or two. Then before you could get started on that project again, something else intruded and you aren't sure when you'll be able to get back to that project. In the first half of April, I was re-formatting a number of our ebooks so that they would look nicer. More professional. How hard could that be? Well, unfortunately, it was not as easy as it sounded. When I checked the final formatting, every one of them had something wrong with it, and I was going on vacation and couldn't spare the time to get them fixed before I had to leave. Bummer! I did take a number of them with me on a thumb drive so I could work on them, but we packed the Apple laptop and not the Lenovo.   MoonPhrazes November 2021 Coming Up Next: John Lars Shoberg's next title, And the Meek Shall Inherit... , is now open for pre-order at $12.00 for the paperback version. We are shooting for a publication date of November 30, but the cover is not quite ready, it's still getting a few tweaks. As soon as that is done, the cover will appear on our website, on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. Not to mention Smashwords and Amazon. You won't be able to pre-order the e-book version until we get that cover uploaded, but you can pre-order the paperback from MoonPhaze.com now, sight unseen, as it were. If you want to pre-order the e-book, start looking at your favorite book store around Nov 15th. If they have the cover, you can pre-order for $3.99. Once it is published, the price will go to $4.99.
